Travel day

Today I'm setting off for California, to Los Angeles and then San Francisco to visit relatives and friends and even to see a few sights. I should be gone until July 25.

I do plan to post fairly regularly, since I'll have access to a computer there, although I don't know whether posting will be a daily event or not. I even have a couple of pieces that are already written, which I plan to plug in here and there. So we'll see.

I envy your visit to San Francisco, city by the bay. I spent much time there in days of yore.

We will be getting a taste of N. California next month though, when we go out to see our Chaparral Racing Team run once again at Laguna Seca, Monterey.

Welcome to California! Hope you'll have a great time. Our state's intelligence and beauty have just gone up a notch by your presense! :-)

We all envy your visit to the city by the bay, but did you know Neo was character in the matrix and neo conservatives are the new republicans because the all republicans perished under the Bill Clinto regime?

Neo con or just oare we just CONning YERS (CON WAY?). Cons seem to be all over and it has alot to do with the Florida vote and some nutbars calling in the UN to run US elections and trying to change the electoral college in Republican states at the same time. All these people hate America and want to be pals with the UN, indeed, the biggest conning of them all.

Hope you hit a weather stretch as perfect as we enjoyed over the 4th of July weekend in SF. Our daughter was worried that the good weather was all used up in the weeks before our visit but it held for one sunny day after another. Truth is, it bordered on seeming coolish to us since we had left TN with temps in the 80's. I stupidly never thought to bring sweaters but at least I had packed a jacket. I'm sure you're a more savvy packer than I am. Enjoy.
